SERVICE WARRNTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Product Service Warrantee

AH Steel Windows Service Warranties its products against manufacturing defects for a period of 30 years for products factory finished at our facility.

Corrosion Warrantee

AH Steel Windows warrants our products from corrosion with AH factory applied industrial paint for

Five (5) years from the date of initial purchase for non-coastal projects.

Termite

AH Steel Windows warrants our products from Termite. AH Steel Windows will only be responsible for the replacement damage caused by Termite; client will paint AH Windows every year with their own expenses.

Factory Finish

The factory pre-finished should be proved defective; we will have an option to refinish it to the current owner. AH Steel Windows factory paint finish is one of the best in the industry; loss of gloss retention due to sun light and the elements is not considered to be a defect and will occur over a period of time.

In case of full replacement of product is required

AH Steel Windows will only be responsible for the replacement of the original product as per the approved CAD drawing / AH Service Engineer Report. In no other instance of  AH Steel Windows  shall be responsible for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages due to client carelessness.

 

 

 

Inspection

Upon delivery of AH Steel Windows and Doors inspect all windows, and doors for defects, and for freight damage.  Do not install or finish a product without checking the above items closely.

All warranty claims after original shipment must be made within 30 days after covered condition has occurred. Customer must have complied with the full terms, payments and other conditions of the contract.

 

All service warranty claim should have original purchase invoice, AH Service Engineer Report, and product should have AH logo. Otherwise we will never entertain any claim.

 

This Warranty does not cover:

1.        Improperly installed products

2.        Damage caused by attempts to repair the product, or by any circumstance beyond the control of AH Steel Windows including but not limited to damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, mishandling or acts of nature.

3.        Failure to perform normal homeowner’s maintenance and refinish.

4.       Modifications to any AH product from its original CAD design / Quality

5.        Wear and tear with weather-stripping

6.       Corrosion due to improper maintenance and/or refinish

7.        Routine product maintenance

8.       Product sheen and paint discoloration

9.       Lockset hardware is not covered in the AH warranty.

Claims under this limited warranty must be made in writing within the period of this warranty and prior to the beginning of any repair work to AH Steel Windows, Cherankunnu, Sreekandapuram, Kannur District, Kerala. AH Steel Windows reserves the right must be given at least a sixty (60) days opportunity to have any product which is the subject of a warranty claim field inspected by an AH Steel Windows representative. Reasonable access to the products in question must be given.

We can respond quickly and efficiently if you prepare the following information: your name, the address of where the product is located, and best time to contact you. In addition, please provide a brief description of the apparent problem along with photographs per the request of the service manager.

AH Steel Windows liability is expressly limited to the replacement or correction of material and no other claim or demands shall be made or required by AH Steel Windows. In no instance shall AH Steel Windows be responsible for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.

No distributor, dealer or representative of AH Steel Windows has the authority to change, modify or expand this warranty.

Notice to Customer

It is the responsibility of the homeowners in caring for and maintaining AH Steel products. You may be required to perform periodic maintenance in order to keep your AH product in good condition and appearance. Periodic maintenance is not part of your AH Steel Windows warranty. Environmental conditions in your area such as coastal applications, and overhang protection will dictate how much maintenance your products will require. Maintenance may include restoring exterior finish or paint and lubricating hinges.

In coastal applications and harsh environments, AH Steel Windows recommends quarterly inspections and maintenance. Salt and other corrosive or abrasive substances must not be allowed to build up on exterior surfaces. These inspections and product maintenance are NOT covered under the AH product warranty.
